Goal #1: Build an accessible play space at our middle school. This past year, we’ve worked closely with 3 local playground companies, have our designs and bids, and are in the next phases of tweaking and gaining community and school insight on our final designs. Our current budget is $400,000. We envision creating a play space here at Hopkins West Middle School by Summer of 2027. A place where all are included and all can have fun.

Goal #2: To continue to educate others about accessible playgrounds AND be able to support Minnesota communities on their accessible playground journeys. This is a lofty goal, but we truly believe this group of students are the future and they don’t want to stop until ALL can play on a playground.
